Industrial Design Outreach (iDo) mentors gauge the success of students through non-traditional methods (as compared to assessment methods used in subjects such as math, reading, and English). Instead, iDo mentors measure student success based on the following:

  1. How was the student's knowledge of learned skills applied to the individual piece based on research, previous knowledge, and aesthetics?

  2. How did the student's incorporate technical skills? Did they follow the proper procedures?

  3. How did the student's respond to other classmate's feedback during critiques?

  4. What was the level of the student's emotional growth during the project?

  5. What level of feedback did the student provide, regarding the project and its importance to their future education?
  1. Community Bench Project
  2. T-Shirt Project
  3. Drum Project
  4. CD Project
  5. Lighting Project
  6. Game Board Project
