Taking Time Students working on the Community Bench Project were encouraged to take there time and master skills learned through class demos, presentations, and examples. Students who followed this process delivered pieces like the one pictured here. The exceptional detail and time spent on this piece is what creates pride in students, educators, and mentors alike.

Individuals and foundations working closely with the Industrial Design Outreach program strive to meet the same goals, both in academics and in the arts, by creating new and innovative projects each year. Students and professionals alike should feel free to contact one another through e-mail, by phone or via the sites social network. By creating an environment such as this, the Industrial Design Outreach program hopes that students, professionals, and educators will learn from each other-taking their education to a whole new level for many generations to come. Enjoy!
