"I got my idea for community from sports because when people play sports it brings them together and they have fun. In our community, there are sports being played every day. They could be playing on a school team or for a recreation team or maybe for fun".

"I learned that a designer must have the ability to be flexible and willing to accept change because your first draft won't be the final one. There will always be changes. I learned that community is about people that do what they enjoy".

"I learned that what is impossible in the beginning can soon become a reality in the end...even in my weakest area-Art. I made something that is not too ugly and I now know there are no limits to what I can do. I also learned not to say "whatever" or "I don't care about my work".

"During this project I felt that I could do something that I never experienced before and feel like it was a once in a lifetime opportunity. I also believe that not many students get such an opportunity during their high school years, especially in the area where we live".

"It was so hard using the cutting machine alone. Fortunately, the professor and students who are from San Francisco State helped me out".

"I know I didn't pay attention to you guys at first, but thanks for coming to help us with our art. I learned a lot about Adobe Illustrator and its many uses in the design department. There are so many things I didn't know, like brainstorming certain ideas based on a boring subject, or changing it into an object with life".

"Thank you for all the help you have given me with my T-Shirt project. I especially appreciate the information and advice you have provided, and the suggestions you have shared with me. Your assistance has been invaluable to me during this process. Again, thank you so much. I greatly appreciate your generosity".

"I really love your companies, You helped me out a bunch, Those days were really fun, But I know you had to run.

Philip was the main menace, Filling in on my mistake, And I know those skills weren't fake.

Michelle helped me get ideas, From complicated to really easy, Those brainstorm signs were really crazy, She hit me up when I gets lazy.

I hope to work with you again, As many days, months, and years as I can, So I want to thank you will all my heart, For making my life apart of art".

Pushing Through Students who struggled more than others pushed through to the end, creating great pieces.
